Nissa Jewelry is a high-end costume jewelry line founded by Nissa Rasmussen and hand made by the artist in NYC. When she began designing, her mission was to construct the kind of jewelry she wanted to wear, but couldn’t find; to create the perfect jewelry assortment for the chic and modern girl.

Crafted from rescued pieces updated with a modern twist, Nissa Jewelry gives vintage items a second life. Elegantly inventive, yet inherently retro, the creations embody the perfect pairing of the old and the new. Jewelry becomes art when items others might not picture fitting together are combined into a unique masterpiece.

Nissa and her team conduct aesthetic treasure hunts, scouring charity and consignment shops, second hand stores, and vintage and antique malls in search of the perfect finds to reinvent into her coveted, one-of-a-kind creations.

Rasmussen is inspired by the history behind each and every one of these tokens. In her designs, she seeks to preserve the original beauty of each rescued item while adding modern accents to create a marriage of vintage elegance and modern irreverence.
